Description

APRI seeks a highly motivated and enthusiastic research intern to support and contribute to its Just Green Technology Transition research.  The ideal candidate should possess relevant research experience and a strong understanding of Climate Change and Green Technology policy, specifically within the African context.

Duties and responsibilities
  • Conduct research, writing, data analysis, and editing for program topics.
  • Support the coordination and execution of workshops, webinars, and other events.
  • Contribute to the creation and implementation of online content (e.g., images, databases).
  • Offer administrative and general support to the project team.
Requirements
  • Completed postgraduate studies in a relevant field, such as climate policy, technology policy, trade policy, or economics, are required.
  • Proven strong research and analytical capabilities, specifically relating to green technology policy within an African context.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Reliable, flexible, and self-motivated, with a demonstrated ability to independently manage and prioritise tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Applicants registered in Europe must be currently enrolled in a European university (German: Pflichtpraktikum).
